What you get when you install Tellyah.

You read short stories where your choices matter, you react with an emo rather than a comment, and you can write your own.

On this page

At some point, the story asks you what you would do.

You don't just follow the story, you decide it. Every choice opens a branch, and the one you didn't take is still there: you can come back and read it.

A whole story, in one sitting.

A telly is a few bubbles, not six hundred pages. You reach the end, you know how it turns out, and you move on to the next one.

The translation sits on top of the text, it doesn't replace it.

You stay in the same story, on the same screen. One tap and the text flips into your language, and you go back to the original just as fast. It all happens on your phone, without going through a server.

An emo, not a comment.

No like button, no leaderboard, no comment field. Your readers leave an emo on the bubble that moved them, and you see which one.

Every category has its own type and colours.

The same screen, three categories. It's the identity each story carries in the feed, and it changes completely from one category to the next.

A feed card in Romance: handwritten pink title, palette of its own.
#Romance
The same card in Feel Good: rounded title, softer palette.
#Feel Good
The same card in Psycho: sea-green title, firm serifs.
#Psycho

Your story can start here too.

Writing is open to everyone, no selection. You lay down your bubbles, open a choice whenever you want, and publish when it's ready. See how writing works on Tellyah.

Your story starts here.

Your readers tell you what they felt. Not a counter, an emotion.
